How we count impact
The definitions and review process behind every number Every Rally Counts publishes.
Every number on our Impact pagerepresents something that has actually happened, been documented, and been reviewed before publication. Here's exactly how each figure is defined.
Rallies
A rally is counted after the scheduled session actually occurs, not when it's booked.
Volunteer hours
Volunteer hours include completed service time only — planning time is not counted.
Donations directed
Donations are counted only after confirmation, since Every Rally Counts does not process gifts made directly to GNTE.
Equipment collected vs. delivered
Equipment is counted when received and inspected. Equipment delivered to GNTE or another partner is counted separately from equipment collected.
Youth reached
Refers only to direct participation connected to Every Rally Counts — never GNTE's organization-wide numbers.
Review
Totals are updated manually and verified before publication.
Every Rally Counts vs. GNTE
Every Rally Counts is an independent initiative, not a division of Greater Newark Tennis & Education. We only report numbers connected to our own direct activity — our sessions, our volunteers, our equipment drives, our donations directed. We never present GNTE's organization-wide totals as our own.
Review process
Numbers are updated manually, not automatically. Before publishing an update, we check it against the original source — a completed session, a confirmed donation, a received equipment shipment — and note the date of the update.
Correction policy
If a reported number is later found to be inaccurate, it will be corrected promptly and the update date below will change to reflect it.
